Subject: 2026 Official Memo
Welcome to the 11th season of the Easy Money Fantasy Football League.
Congratulations to Eric Gibson on winning the 2025 championship, his third EMFFL title. Three years ago this memo announced the race to three championships. I got there first in 2024. It took Eric exactly one season to answer, and we now sit tied at three apiece. Nobody else in this league has more than one. Act accordingly.
It did not start like a coronation. Eric dropped his opener to Ben, was sitting at 2-2 a month in, and then won 9 of his last 10 to finish 11-3 with the points title at 1,959.54. That stretch included a 200.43 in Week 10, the third highest week in league history. The one blemish in the back half of his schedule belongs to me, 126.70 to 117.65 in Week 9.
Luke, once again the team of destiny, snuck into the playoffs at 7-7 as the 6 seed, took out my 3 seed in round 1, ended Mitch's season in the semis, and walked into the championship riding a wave of momentum that Eric ended with extreme prejudice, 114.93 to 88.82. Luke has now played in two championship games and lost both of them to Eric.
The middle of this league was a bloodbath. Mitch, Sean, Riley and I all finished 8-6, and Points For decided the seeding. Mitch opened 4-1, cooled off, but cashed four weekly high scores, hung the second biggest blowout in league history on Josh, 172.28 to 64.54 in Week 11, and salvaged third place. Sean was quietly steady all year and took three weekly highs before dropping the third place game. Riley started 4-1, faded, then detonated for 210.33 in the fifth place game, the highest score anyone posted all season, worth exactly one draft slot. As for me, I started 0-4 and went 8-2 the rest of the way. BTA SEASON BABY!
The bottom of the league told on itself in the team names. Kris named his team Not My Year and went 6-8, so at least somebody in this league keeps their word. Ben beat the eventual champion in Week 1, started 2-0, went 3-9 the rest of the way, and then won the consolation bracket to steal the first pick in the 2026 draft. That is how the system is supposed to work. Mohammed named his team Tanking for 26 and delivered a 5-9 season with a straight face, and now has proceeded to derail the draft for 2026. Is anyone surprised?
And Josh. Josh started 2-0, lost eight in a row, renamed his team I Hate Them, absorbed that Week 11 massacre from Mitch, and then put up 99.10 and 81.24 in the consolation bracket to finish dead last on purpose. His reward for the tank job is the fourth pick, not the first, because the draft order rewards winning the toilet bowl, not losing it.
One piece of offseason housekeeping. While rebuilding the league records from the raw ESPN data, we recovered Season 1 owner Kyle Menchaca, who went 7-6, made the playoffs, and was then scrubbed from the official spreadsheet like he never existed. His record has been restored to the books, where he holds a better career winning percentage than half of you. The full corrected history is in the History tab.
One more thing before I let you go. The memo you are reading lives at easymoneyfantasyfootball.com now, and it is no longer just a memo. Your king spent the offseason building the league a real home: every score, standing, bracket, and beating from all 10 seasons, pulled straight from raw ESPN and Sleeper data and fact-checked against the record books.
Once the season kicks off, the site updates itself off live Sleeper data every time you open it. Weekly matchups with all-time head-to-head records attached, the $25 high score tracker, playoff odds, a records watch that flags when someone is about to enter the history books for the right or wrong reasons, and a running tally of how much of your bench you wasted. The Teams tab shows every player on your roster and exactly what round he costs to keep, with the keeper deadline counting down. The Draft tab has the full board with every traded pick where it belongs, and on draft night it fills in live, pick by pick. Bookmark it, add it to your home screen, and stop asking me questions the site already answers.

How keeper costs work. Two keepers max. A first-time keeper costs the round he was drafted in last year. A player kept last season costs his FantasyPros PPR ADP round as of one week before the draft. Undrafted pickups cost the last round (17). No pick in that round: the keeper moves up to your next owned round, never down. Keepers are announced in the GroupMe one week before the draft.
Repeat-keeper ADP rounds appear once the ADP snapshot is taken one week out. Until then they show as pending.

Draft Order (from the 2025 consolation results, snakes each round)
Order per league rule: 7th/8th game winner picks first, then its loser, then the 9th/10th game winner and loser, the 5th/6th winner and loser, the 3rd/4th winner and loser, the championship loser, and the champion picks last.
Trades
Every trade gets a scoreboard. Total = points the player has scored for his new team since the deal, bench included. Started = points in weeks he was actually in the lineup. Picks are listed as assets and score once they turn into players.

Lineups & Format
- 10 teams, PPR. Starting lineup: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex (RB/WR/TE), 1 DEF, 8 bench.
Keeper Rules
- On Tuesday at 11:59 PM following the fantasy championship weekend, rosters lock, meaning franchises may no longer pick up or drop players.
- Keepers are to be announced one week prior to the decided upon draft date. Please announce in the GroupMe.
- Players being kept for their first time are to be kept in the round that they were drafted in the previous year.
- Players who are being kept for a consecutive year (they were already kept the previous year) are to be kept in the round of their FantasyPros PPR ADP as of one week prior to the decided upon draft date.
- If you have two picks available to use in the same round, you can choose which pick you would like to use to keep a keeper in that round.
- If you don't have a pick available in a round that you want to keep a player in, you need to keep them in the next highest round you have, and cannot keep them at a lower round.
- If you have two keepers who have the same round ADP and you want to keep them both, you need to keep one in a higher round and one in the ADP round.
- Keeper rights stay with the player, not the owner. E.g. if a previous year keeper is traded to another owner, that player still counts as a 2nd year keeper.
Trading in the Offseason
- Offseason trades may be made after the roster lock event at the end of the season.
- Players traded will count against the keeper allowance of the team trading the player away, unless they receive an equal or greater amount of players in return. In addition, a player who is traded for in the offseason will be automatically declared a keeper for the team receiving the player, with the exception of that player being re-traded by the receiving team in a separate trade.
- Owners may trade 1 player on their roster in exchange for a draft pick, without being penalized and without that player counting towards the owner's keeper allowance. Any trades thereafter will follow the rules outlined above, and count against the owner's keeper allowance.
- Owners will only be permitted to collect up to 6 picks in the first 4 rounds of the draft, meaning they can only receive two additional picks in the first 4 rounds through trades throughout the season.
Regular Season Trade Rules
- The trade deadline is set for Week 10 of the regular season.
- Please use caution and common sense when trading. Refer to Josh's Rule: (1) All trades are final. (2) Due diligence is the responsibility of the owner receiving the player being traded for (AKA "Buyer Beware"). (3) There is no disclosure rule. E.g. the owner sending a player does not need to disclose any known injuries or issues associated with the player being traded.
Trade Vetoes
- The only grounds for bringing a trade to a vote for veto is foul play, collusion, or rules being broken.
- If someone can bring evidence to the table within 12 hours of any trade that the trade is somehow either breaking a rule or something illegal was done, then we can put the trade to a vote for veto. If not, go fuck yourself.
Free Agency Rules
- Auction style free agency. Each team receives 100 points at the beginning of the year to bid on players throughout the year during waiver periods each week.
Playoff Rules
- 6 teams make the playoffs. The top 2 teams in the regular season standings enter the playoffs with a bye.
- The bottom 4 teams in the regular season standings are placed into a consolation bracket where they are competing for the top 4 draft pick spots for the following season's draft.
Draft Order
- Draft order is set according to the consolation bracket standings at the end of the previous season. Draft order snakes each round: 7th/8th place winner, 7th/8th place loser, 9th/10th winner, 9th/10th loser, 5th/6th winner, 5th/6th loser, 3rd/4th winner, 3rd/4th loser, championship loser, champion.

2016 through 2018 lived on ESPN before the move to Sleeper in 2019. Both eras were pulled from the platforms' raw data. And yes, that Kyle row is real: Kyle Menchaca owned a team in Season 1, went 7-6, made the playoffs, and was then erased from the official spreadsheet. JJ took over the franchise in 2017.
